Animal Lover Turned ‘Cones Of Shame’ Into Dog-Friendly Works Of Art.
Through her knowledge of social media and photography, Einbender could help these dogs find a home.
But in order to do that, she had to put her project in motion to by using bright colors and fun patterns to decorate the cones, so when people saw them, they'd smile and laugh.
Einbender ended up going to Michael's Craft Store to get all the magical supplies she'd need.
She spent $200 on brightly colored pom-poms, butterflies, gemstones, fake flowers and even multi-colored feathers to give dogs like this one a unique look. Hmm... sounds like the Native American Chief look is so in.
The cones of fame were a massive undertaking and quite time consuming.
So Einbender gathered a couple of "One Tail At A Time" rescue volunteers to lend a hand with decorating the cones together to make the dogs stand out and feel special. What can we say? She's all heart.
Once the cone is ready, it's out with the old and in with the new.
After the old, boring cones are replaced with Einbender's fancy looking alternatives, she treats each dog to an adorable photo shoot. "Some dogs smile and pose; it's super cute," added Einbender.
Every cone Einbender creates is completely different to help dogs stand out more.
It also showcases their unique personalities, which makes you wonder what this dog did to deserve being showcased as a trash bin with cardboard paper, aluminum, and two beer cans. Maybe he was just a naughty boy.
